I noticed that CHH has fish and "chips" on the menu. How do these compare to Rose & Crown's? Not at all, somewhat, same??? :confused3

We were disappointed with Columbia Harbor House when we visited last trip. The chips were regular fries and the fish (while different than chicken fingers) was nothing special.

We like England's fish and chips better, but we also think that the counter-service England fish and chips is too greasy.

We've never eaten at the Rose and Crown, but we love CHH. The fish and chips are good, but then we've never had anything we didn't like at CHH. :thumbsup2

We've only been to CHH once and we liked it we dont go for the fish tho..lol We go because its cool and quiet and a nice get away from the heat..

bluejasmine -- I see you've been a few times in Aug. and live fairly near to us -- is Orlando summer heat similar to ours or is it worse? We've only been in January, so I have no clue what we're facing. :sunny:

The Rose and Crown fish and chips are probably a little better, but you would be hard-pressed to say even that was very good fish and chips. ;)

You go to CCH for the peace and quiet, as someone else said, and WWD's best tuna sandwich! The bread is multi-grain, the tuna is all white meat and not loaded with mayo - this sandwich is a tremendous break from the burgers-fries-chicken fingers-pizza lunch.

BTW, it's hot, hot in August, but you'll quickly adjust. I don't like intense heat, but I do fine. I'm in WDW, after all! LOL!

I've seen that tuna sandwich mentioned several times now -- think I may just have to try it!! Thanks for the input.
