Columbia Harbor House review

We tried out CHH for the first time on May 29 right before Spectro magic. WOW! It was fabulous!

I had the hummus sandwich with a bowl of clam chowder. That sandwich was just wonderful, it was on an "olive bread" and was topped with broccoli slaw....very unique and so tasty. The chowder was very fresh and thick - not watery.

My hubby had the tuna salad sandwich with chili. The sandwich had just the right amount of mayonnaise and the chili was hearty and flavorful.

The kids both had the fish and chips and loved them. There were 3 large fish strips and both were wanting more.

We are not big counter service fans but we really loved this one, we will be back - it is a very nice change from burgers.

I totally agree, I love the food here. I have been there a few times now and each time I had the Starboard Deck Sandwich (ham, cheese, brocolli slaw, tomatoes). It is yummy.

Thanks for the review, maybe I will try a different sandwich now that I know more about the other choices.

I'm so glad to hear this! We are trying it for the 1st time but only because it's included in the KTTK tour - good to know we'll enjoy it, too!

We ate there in May and had the fish and chicken and it was the best fast food meal we had at WDW during the trip. It is a great place to eat and DH and I both recommend it for a good meal....

I've asked this question several times, but I've never gotten an answer. Hopefully you can help me!!! Do you remember what was in the tuna? Onion? Celery? Pickles? Was it sweet?

There were not very many pickles in it and it was not sweet. I like MY tuna salad with eggs and sweet pickles but alas.....this did not have that in it. It was just tuna, mayonnaise, and a few crushed pickles (my hubby's kind of tuna )

Glad to hear the good review! I was getting kind of nervous because quite a few of those that do the KTTK tour haven't been giving it very good reviews. It's part of our tour, so I hope it's good!

We have this on our list of Counter Service Places to dine at in November !!
I only had the food once there but it was pre-selected when on the Keys to The Kingdom Tour ( lunch was included with the tour), so have never seen the real menu !

CHH is probably our favorite CS restaurant at MK. And we never eat at a TS restaurant at MK so I guess CHH is our favorite in the whole park!

I too loved eating at CHH in both October and April. Last month I had the Tuna Salad sandwich and it was delicious, fresh and seasoned just right. I think it is a great CS meal in the MK.

CHH is my husband's favorite CS in the MK. He loves the fish, saying it is always hot and freshly cooked. I like the Deck sandwich withe the broccoli slaw.

As a kid, on our day trips, we always ate at the Columbia Harbor House. I took DH there during our September 2004 trip and he loved it too!

It's on our list for this coming September too!

CHH is a must for our family. The hummus sandwich is wonderful! I have to have it at least twice during our visit!
