I will be at WDW on President's week (which I am learning will be a busy time), and we have all ADRs for TS meals. My question is about CS.

The first day we are there, Sat, 2/14, we will go to DTD and plan to get to MK in the evening. Spectro Magic starts at 8, and Wishes at 9, so I want to do a CS dinner prior to these.

How do you like the 2 above CS places? Is one easier than the other to get in and out of? What time should we get to MK to have time to eat CS and get a spot for Spectro magic?

Any advice will sure be appreciated! I really want this trip to be as relaxed as possible. Do you think I'm micromanaging a bit? Good planning cuts down on the stress, right?? :scared1:

2 of the best CS places in the Magic Kingdom. Unfortunately, I am 99% sure that El Pirato will be closed when you're going. It's usually only open in the summer and other extremely busy times. So I would plan on going to Columbia Harbor House which has fabulous food. Enjoy!

Yes, I don't know if we've ever seen them open! CHH has a good selection and some great food, so definitely plan on that.

Past 3 trips we have made it a point to go to P & P, but it has been closed each time. CHH is very good though.

My DF and I went to Pirata this past August and enjoyed it. I had the taco salad and he had the tacos. The best part was the fixings bar with the lettuce, cheese, tomatoes, onions and salsa. I will absolutely eat here again. However, I LOVE Columbia Harbour House. They have the best tuna sandwich that I've ever had. Everything I've ever had there has been wonderful.

I guess what I'm saying is it really doesn't matter too much because either place you chose (whether it be because Pirata isn't open), you'll have an excellent meal! :thumbsup2

Sorry...double post...that's the first time that's ever happened! :)

El Pirato is my favorite CS. If it's open, I'd definitely go there. We ate at CHH on our last trip for the first time. It was a pretty good meal. We would probably eat there again.

P&P really doesnt sit well with me...you can taste it all day long if you know what I mean. DH loves it tho so he usually eats there and then we go to CH for me!

We've usually been lucky enough to find El Pirata open when we are there. Even when they are open, I think you will find they close by mid-afternoon. Love the tacos & taco salad. We also like CHH, but it's too bad they no longer serve the delicious ham sandwich. If we can't find anything else on the menu, I will still go there for the yummy vegetarian chili!

We love CHH - I always get the tuna sandwich, and DH really likes the clam chowder and vegetarian chili. We ate at Pirates for the first time in July and I thought the taco was good. It's just hit and miss on whether or not it will be open.

Side note - my girls will be marching in the parade prior to Specto that night. They are baton twirlers - look for them!!!
