Colours for roses-Please help:rose:

I am going to have the intimate bouquet in the cascade style. The picture that they show is red and white roses. I want this but don't want bright red roses I want darker ones. Has anyone got pictures of their bouquets with the red roses in? Please post

I know what you mean, I wanted a deep red, not bright red, as our colors were burgundy and ivory. Rosie helped me decide on the French style, slightly modified, with large ivory roses and smaller deep red roses (the picture is from the lo-res CD so it's a little blurry and the roses were darker in person than in the picture). Sorry I don't know the name of the rose she used. It was exactly what I wanted - Rosie is the best

Yes that looks like the right colour, your bouquet was beautiful . Anyone got pictures of the cascade style?

Mine wasn't a cascade style but I had red 'Black Magic' roses.

hi,i am a wedding florist,i think the rose you are looking for is called grand prix.It's a deep red colour,also there is one called passion.Good luck with finding the right colour

Kate also had Black Magic roses for her wedding, and they are truly much deeper in person than Ranger Pooh's photo. They are more like a deep burgandy wine color. If you are looking for a fuller rose, rather than something small, Black Magic is an excellent choice. Good luck! ~Ev
