colour analysis

At my DD's school the other evening they had a ladies indulgence evening and one of the things being demonstrated was colour analysis. I know there are a number of different companies offering this and here in the Uk I have heard both good and bad from different people. Has anyone out there experience of this, what did you think, and do you now follow their advice?

I think the color analysis fad went through the US some years ago (at least 10 yrs ago I think). People had these "parties" where women went and had their color analysis done and also what "season" (of the year) you were...

Haven't heard much about it recently anymore.

I know just a little about it. I know that they put you in certain categories according your your personal color scheme. You may be able to find some books about it.
"Color Me Beautiful" was one of the first ones out.

It makes sense to me. People do tend to look better when they wear the clothes that suits their own coloring.
