Not enough to break out the shovel in Englewood, but the walk to the light rail station was damn chilly!
That is one thing I do not miss about riding the light rail every day, walking and waiting for the light rail to come. Those were some chilly 6:00am mornings. But I do miss not having to pay for fuel!!!!!!

DW saw kids being dropped of at school today wearing shorts & t-shirts! This is at an elementary school, where parents SHOULD be responsible for their kids dressing appropriately (unlike high school where it is OK to let your kid suffer the consequences for trying to look cool - come on, tell me you didn't do it!).

Now Heidi. That was an unexpected storm!!!! Give me some credit.

We got a couple of inches here, but not enough on the driveway to have to shovel.

I'm working at a school now and helping with outside traffice and you'd be surprised what people let their elementary school age kids wear. There was one little girl the other day (when it was in the low 30's) get dropped off in a short-sleeved shirt and mini skirt, no jacket or sweater. I think the Mom heard me & someone else comment and went home to get her coat. There is NO way my kids were even wearing short-sleeved shirts and skirts this time of year. It's NOVEMBER people!!!! Everyday, it's the same things. They never learn :confused3

Hey Sandy - I finally made LIFETIME with WW  I'm still a couple pounds up from my goal, but just to be lifetime is such a huge relief. No more paying me for baby *LOL*

Good job Teresa!!!! I can't believe some people's parents, they never think ;)

Thanks Heidi

It was amazing again this morning, while I'm freezing my butt off, with gloves, heavy jacket and a hat and kids get out of their cars in shorts or skirts and maybe a sweater. I think our high was only in the 50's, so what the hell are they thinking?? :confused3 It's always the same kids and it's always the ones that get into trouble. They are obviously used to getting things their way. Oh well....

Sandy, I haven't been posting on the juice thread lately, but I do read it from time to time. What is up with that one lady? :confused3 Maybe that thread shouldn't be on the main cruise forum, but since no one has moved it why should she let it bother her so much?

I had a good drink at Texas Roadhouse the other night. I forgot what it was called, but it had vodka, peach schnaps, cranberry juice and I think orange juice. It was yummy and definately getting me in the cruise mood (like I need anything else to do that  ) We leave in less than three weeks!!!!! I can't wait :bitelip: :Pinkbounc :cool1: :bounce: :jumping1: :hyper:

Sorry, got a little carried away with the smilies.

Wow Cristi, only 3 weeks left!!! I am so jealous, I still have to wait another 10 months!!!!! Who knows what's up with that lady, we are choosing to ignore her!!!! Hopefully she doesn't come over here next!!!

Cristi, for the life of me I can't figure her out. Honestly, does it really matter? I would never even stop to think about WHERE a thread belongs. It was correct when I first started it so she needs to GET OVER IT!!

Teresa, WAY TO GO. You did an awesome job! I just went on to stabilization at LA weight loss today. A little nervous but I am sure I can do it!

Went to Blossoms of Light at the Botanic Gardens last night. Starbucks was there giving out free beverages. DW had Gingerbread Latte and I had Peppermint Hot Chocolate...then I had another...then I had another. Mmmmmm. Man, you can't beat it when the whipped cream on top is as thick as butter!

The Blossoms of Light sounds like fun. How much did you have to pay for admissions?

Starbucks and free beverages, how could I have missed that!!!! Who do you know?

Actually, I got tickets from KBCO, so I didn't have to pay anything. I think the admission prices are in the RMN today, though.

Sandy - Sorry I haven't posted. I assume stabilization is a lot like maintenance? Congratulations to you!!! I find maintenance to be just as hard as losing the weight. I still have a few more pounds to go for my goal, but I'm not stressing so much over it.

Has anyone been to Sing Sing's before? We have our Christmas party there Saturday and was just wondering how it was. I heard it can get pretty crowded.

Sing Sing is so much fun, but the drinks are soooooo expensive!!! It does get very crowded but it is so worth it. You will have a blast. If you had it on Saturday the 10th, I would be right across the street from you. My boyfriend's christmas party is at Coors Field next Saturday. Get ready to laugh a lot at Sing Sing.

I have heard that Sing Sing is a lot of fun, but I have never been there. Have fun at your Christmas parties. Next Sat the 10th I will be celebrating my birthday on the MAGIC. :cool1: :cool1:
