It was at the Temple Events Center downtown, but was sponsored by the Tattered Cover. It was way oversold. Had I known, I wouldn't have bothered. Sent DW & DS9 home at 9:10 and finally got my book signed at 10:15.

Sounds like a big pain in the butt to me. I figured it was sponsored by Tatter Cover. I wouldn't have the patience to deal with that and all those people!!!!

Can you believe NO snow for Halloween? I can't even remember the last time that it wasn't nasty out. It will be chilly but at least not wet.

I am SO glad the weather will be warming than it has for YEARS. My poor kids usually have to wear so many layers, you can't even see their costumes. I'm just praying that it stays dry.

So how was everyone's Halloween? Did you get a lot of trick-or-treaters? I only got 15 and they were from the ages of 10-15. I prefer the little kids because I like to see them dressed in their costumes!!! Atleast it wasn't snowing!!!!

We only got 20 after about 50 last year when the weather was worse. Most of ours were little ones with their parents, so I don't know where the 6-10 year olds were in our neighborhood.

Handed out candy to about 28 kids in all age groups and voted. Nope Heidi, didn't even get Dufala.

We unloaded a cauldron of candy...lots of kids in our neighborhood. We had trick-or-treaters from about 6 til 8:30.

I work in one of the voting centers in Adams county, very convenient for me!

I took my daughter out this year, but my brother was giving candy out and said we had a lot of kids, maybe about 40-50 I'm guessing. We have a lot of kids in our neighborhood and I decorate the house pretty scarey, so they all like to come by

Lakewood's sales tax increased passed and that should help us! FINALLY!

Since the state's ability to borrow money doesn't kick in until 5 years from now, you have lots of time to save. This was certainly an emotionally charged issue. I got into a disagreement with someone at work over it. We had to leave it at a draw.

I learned not to talk about politics too anyone. My ex-boyfriend and I would end up fighting each other defending our views....bad bad bad!!!!

My dh and his fellow soldiers down here have been told to not talk politics or religion while we are here in the States. I think it's funny but it's actually a "recommendation" which in military words means an order
