Colorado Cruisers

Okay, guys, we went to Del Taco today for lunch. It was our first time there and I want to tell you that I was NOT impressed. Maybe we just got the wrong thing, but what is it that is so good there? :confused3

Cristi, I love the fish taco. Heidi and I love the quesadilla. Pretty much we get anything with the green sauce not the red sauce. I think that is what makes it for us. The simple .69 breakfast burrito is good but change the red sauce to green sauce.

JrsyBoy, I have been telling Heidi for 25 years to quit that nose picking. She just never listens. Now that she has a stalker, maybe she will stop. Well, if you want to see reactions then I guess we all better get together somewhere. I thought we should wait for DCLCruiser but he seems to have disappeared.

Calling DCLCruiser. Where are you??

I just thought I'd send out a quick Colorado wave! We are in Colorado Springs, cruising on the Wonder October 2006.

Okay I will have to go back and try something else. We both got the macho burrito with beef, there wasn't any sort of sauce at all on it. Not very tasty.

I think she means the amusement center, not Wal-Mart...

My fave is the combination burrito (not the macho, just the regular) with GREEN SAUCE. You have to ask for it specifically. And the spicy jack quesadilla with green sauce. The red sauce is very very boring. If they sold their green sauce, I'd buy gallons!

BTW, I posted my trip photos on webshots. If anyone is interested, they're at http://community.webshots.com/user/vplesha. I only posted a small fraction of all the ones I took (400 of 2616), but if you set the delay to 2 seconds, it will still take 14 minutes to go through them all. Enjoy!

Cristi, I have never had the macho burrito. I am not one for too much "stuffing" in a burrito. My hubby typically is but even he doesn't like the macho one. Just too much stuff!

Val, Heidi and I would buy the green sauce by the gallon as well. Your post made me laugh. I thought we were the only ones that would do that. Haven't had the time to look at your pictures but will soon. Thanks for posting them.

I like "stuff" in my burrito (love Chipoltle and Q doba), but theirs has some flavor. The one at Del Taco didn't have any flavor. I will go again and next time try a regular burrito with green sauce.

Hi Cristi, believe me Del Taco doesn't compare to Qdoba or Chipotle but it is good for quick pick up. I love the other two for their nachos!! Mmmmm, too bad I am on a diet!! Now you did it!

Welcome Priorityonecb, you have no idea how addicted you will become to the DCL!!!!

DenverVal - Love the pictures, thanks for sharing. Your rafting tour looked like so much fun!!!

Cristi - Del Taco does not compare to Qdoba or Chipotle, but I think Del Taco is better than Taco Bell. Definitely need to get the GREEN sauce, yummy!!!!

Did everyone survive the snow storm? We just got rain and tons of it. We did get a little dusting of snow.

We got just a smackerel in Englewood. Nothing like the totals The RMN was showing for Centennial and Littleton. It was a cold walk to the light rail station yesterday morning, though! :cold:

You mean people actually worked on Monday? Aww the life of being a federal employee.

Just got a phone call from the guy that aerates. He is a fireman in Aurora asking us how the snow situation is here. He was shocked that we don't have anything. Guess he better move this direction!!

My uncle lives in Franktown, and they're snowed in with 16 inches. We just got rain, all...day...long.

Hey Everyone!

Hubby and I got home Sunday evening from a weekend in San Francisco. I had my 20th high school reunion :earseek: We had a great weekend!!

We got tons of snow here (Quebec & Park Meadows) and lost many tree limbs. We had a hour delay for school and it was a big mess in the morning.

Now I'm busy getting the rest of my Halloween decorations done. Need to work on our grave yard this weekend.
