I am pretty sure I know the answer to this - but for the monochromatic groups, we can use patterned paper that clearly belongs to that color group? (I have corrdinating Bling Bazzil in that color to make it clear which group/color it is in.)

And for the color combination group - black, I have already purchased patterned paper that is dark grey and white (more grey than white) and Black Tie (Bling Bazzil). If I sign up for that group, would the paper be okay for black and white combo - when it has more grey than white - but it's really cool paper?

Comments: I am cool with the element choices and requirements. Not sure if I will sign-up for the Speciality papers because I don't have any Basic Grey, and have to look at my LSSs to see what they have in stock (I do love the Wisteria line though).

Thanks for moving up the sign-up dates! During the original date, I was going to be out-of-town at a business meeting, so would need a sign-up buddy. But with the new dates, I am going to be here - at my computer first thing in the morning to make sure I get the color groups I need for the paper I have!!!

Yes, that is correct

Sure, just remind me to change it to black & grey for you

Some answers in red. I need to pick a sign up time...it would be just cruel to have you hitting re-fresh half the morning:rotfl2: I'll have to start later than usual since DH isn't here to get help get the kiddies off to school. I'll have it up around 9AM.

My ACMoore has a lot of paper on clearance and they allowed the 25% coupon on top of it. It was marked down to 0.34 -0.49 each. I bought enough for 7 groups:thumbsup2

The DCVW stacks will be on sale at J's next week. While I absolutely love them, they are hard to use for swaps. Not enough of any one pattern for a group usually. I find that it is too much work to use different papers within one group.

I've ordered Marrakesh plsu co-ordinating Bazzill - with the current £/$ rate it is actually now cheaper to buy from the UK, as the postage is the same in $ as the goods:scared1: Except for specials like $40 grab bags for $10:rolleyes1(A Cherry on Top)

Thanks DIT! I'll look at the list again and PM you!

MinnieGarden, If DIT has something come up, I can help too!
I think the groups are good. I don't think I would do specialty groups either. I may do patterned paper though. I have beautiful Taj Mahal paper that I would like to use. The pattern paper doesn't have to be the same for every person in that group right? I've never done a color swap before. I'm excited about.

Arizona Rita, I'm also excited about your lyric swap too. I've seen the pics from the past, & they look so fun. When are sign ups for that?

I pulled paper for this tonight! And Banana has hers too!:yay:
I have so much going on in the next 10 days that this is my cookie at the end of a loooooooooooooooong week!
Michi, August 18th is signups for lyrics swap but Ive already started thinking but I need to get together with Rebecca first. But Ive already got my songs.
Way oldie but goodies!:goodvibes Burl Ives anyone?:goodvibes

Rebecca

Thanks Rebecca! I ordered from here.

I'll put you in that group now then.

Yes Michi you have it right. For the patterned paper group, you can use different papers.

For NSD, I went to a couple of my LSSs, and one had the Basic Grey Marakech clearanced for $0.35 a sheet. But I didn't like the papers that were left. She did just get in the entire Lime Rickey and Wisteria lines. I am holding off buying until the end of this month - on the owner's birthday, EVERYTHING in the store is her *age* off - and this year, she is turning 44! So I will load up on those lines then.

DIT, I saw the Lime Rickey online and was uhm about it, but then I saw it today, and you are right, it's much better in person.

But Wisteria is still my favorite! So pretty.

I hesitated of the Lime Rickey, but I knew others were getting it already and I wasn't so keen on some of the papers. Wisteria is lovely but too girly for my pages:sad2: - I'm still using up Sultry:rotfl: ETA one of the LR papers reminded me of Elmo the Elephant - do you get those books/cartoons there?

I couldn't decide what to get in the Lime Rickey since I liked the look of them all so I got a bit of each.

If I'd picked a 2nd grouping of paper, I'd have gone with porcelain. I really thought that was pretty.

MM, that's a great deal getting 44% off. I'd be waiting too!

Mazda, I don't know Elmo the Elephant.

Its a kids story - the elephant is not grey like the other elephants, but patchwork (all multicoloured) - the first story he tries to disguise himslef by rolling in elephant coloured berries:rotfl:

You're up early!

I think Elmo was one of the first books about beinf "different". They are a very sweet set of books. And I agree about that one paper and Elmo.
Good morning everyone!

Can an ATC be an elemnt? Everyone knows thise are my favorite these days...

Yes, it can as long it remains kind of theme-less. Does that make sense?

Oh ok soinds great. So would flowers & fibers count as too girly & a theme? Like little embellies like that? Thanks a bunch!
