Hi everyone I am still new to disboards but yeah is anyone on here in color guard my school started a junior division for those who want to do it in high school so we we are ready for next year.So any tips or any thing we are preparing for our first show.Or can anyone tell me there experience in color guard.:)

i was in color guard my freshman through junior year..i quit my senior year because we had three director change in the last year and i had enough of the girl drama all the time.

Dont get me wrong i loved spinning rifles and sabres i even miss it now that im in college.

With some helps at your competition go big..when we performed in gyms the judges where always up high and our coach always said make it big or go home. if its your first competion i know its nerve racking but never stop smiling even if you mess up smile like you meant to do that. judges love that you dont get thrown off by drops or mess ups. And remember to look up your performing to audience so give them a great show :]

hope that helps

I started this year, but I had to quit. :/
It's a lot of fun and I hope my schedule will allow me to do it next year!
Everyone knows I'm a marching band girl (xD)

Enjoy colorguard! :D

Color guard is fun, says the drum major. The guard captains taught me a few flag moves over the summer. It's a lot of fun, but that the same time, it takes a lot of practice and patience to understand what you're doing.

Just keep smiling and enjoy it.
Guard bus is where it's at.

SMILE!!!

I'm not on guard but I am in marching band. But..

SMILE!! :)
