Collegiate Courses vs. Disney exploration series?

Does anyone know which one would look better as far as resume building purposes go? Like do either of them have a better reputation as far as that goes? And does anyone know which would be more helpful in helping a cp in getting a Professional Internship with the company?

Collegiate classes are probably better for the resume since they're harder, take more work, include tests, etc. The Exploration Series are pretty easy and straightforward. There's no assignments to speak of, you mostly just have to show up to pass. Collegiate classes are more like a typical college class.

As for what helps you get a PI, it really depends on what PI you would want. Pick a class that will go along with the PI that you're looking for, and yes, I think Collegiate class are definitely going to be a better choice for PIs as well since they take more time and work.

Put simply (or "cheesily "I should say!), at the end of the program, if you completed an Exploration class, you get a Mouster's. If you completed a Collegiate class, you get a Ducktorate. You know which is worth more.

I'm taking one of both! (I've done an Exploration class in a previous program though and it was a piece of cake)

I completed one of both (the Mousters and Ducktorate hang on my fridge) and enjoyed them greatly. With that said, neither are listed on my resume, they have never come up in an interview and neither gave me an advantage as far as my Disney career goes.

I learned a great deal from the classes and use that knowledge to talk more intellegently about the company; but outside of the actual program, no one knows what the classes are, how they are classified, or which ones get credit.

Take the classes you're interested in and have topics that you want to learn more about.
