DO you live on campus?

I commute to school everyday and though it sooo much cheaper its kinda crummy sometimes cuz I feel like I'm missing out on a lot of university experiences!

I live on campus
It's fun, but it gets so LOUD.

Like you'll get people drunk walking down the hall saying "SEEE this is SPEED walking because you are walking with SPEEEEEEEEEEED *crashes into door*"

I always thought that sounded like a fun job. Exercise and health science is going to be a backup/hobby for me. If you're still here when you go to college, I might be asking you a few questions about it and your study. I always wondered how you became a personal trainer. Cool stuff.

i am going to be a personal trainer.
you can get your personal training certificate online, but if you go to college for it, you are likely to make more money and get a better job in a better gym. at SEMO, you do work in the gym, as well as in the classroom, and intern at random places.
some people will train with the baseball or basketball team, but i will intern in a gym.
it's a pretty broad area of study.
but pretty much, i want to be the person at the gym that teaches you the proper exercises to do to lose the weight you want to lose or gain the muscle you want to gain.

I'm curious to know, why would a bachelors degree make a difference in hiring?
I understand from an education standpoint....
I bet you could even do physical therapy too if you wanted it.....

I'm looking into Stetson, FIU, University of Central Florida, Florida State, University of Florida, Maryville College, Penn State University, and University of South Florida..

I'm gonna look into others as well, and narrow my choices down.
I want to major in either forensic science, psychology, or medicine.

There will probably be a major focused specifically at english teaching. Like my school has 'english with teacher licensure 7-12'. The lower-level classes are focused on english, and the upper-level classes are focused on english and how to teach it.

my school does the same thing. first you pick the level of ed, then what you want to teach. ed will be your major though. and when you graduate you'll be a licensed teacher.

I've applied to Montclair, West Chester, Rowan, and James Madison.
I got my acceptance letter from Montclair, but I don't want to answer until I get a response from West Chester. West Chester is probably my top choice because it has the bachelor's AND masters degrees for my major (which hopefully will be speech pathology) And I'm going to minor in audiology or education.

i'm not totally sure.
this is just what the college people have told me, and i know that they always want to sway things in their direction.
i do know that my friends mom got her personal training degree online and she can't find a job anywhere.
but, my personal personal trainer [haha] went to college and she has two different jobs.
i guess when the person hiring looks at the resume and see that you went to college it just looks better.
i was going to college one way or another, but i'm not totally sure.
i guess i'll find out.
