Regarding the college program news story......the same thing happen to me when I was on the 1997 College Program.

1997 - I arrive at Vista Way in Lake Buena Vista, Florida. A short time later, the dream was shattered, due to medical problems. I had to return home, but Disney told me that I am welcome to try the college program again after I get well.

1997 - 2001 - I bounce between various sports venues, theme parks, and game companies.....but alas, I never again find my true self.

I have a similar story skip! Thankfully not mine.

There was a girl who I met during cp and she got incredibly sick at one point. She was out from work 10 consecutive days and Disney reserved the right to fire her at any point so they did. She was told to vacate her apartment by the afternoon later the next day.

Disney does reserve the right to fire you for ANYTHING! If you do something at your apartment while your not on the clock working then they have the option to terminate you immediately. Disney does work in mysterious ways but sometimes good and sometimes strange.

Doesn't Disney OWN the apartments? That seems fair to me and not strange.

Technically, Disney does not own the apartments, but they work with a separate company called Price Management, which they have agreements with. Price Management, well, manages the apartments on behalf of Disney.

Owning and managing are two totally different things. While I don't know which it is for Disney, it's totally possible that Disney owns the buildings and hires Price Management to manage them for them.
