College Grad. Gift??

What's a good gift (or creative one) for someone who is graduating college with their Masters degree? He's a great guy, put himself through school, paid off his student loans and has a terrific sense of humor...he's my nephew..TIA Barb

LOL Avonlady I was thinking the same thing! If he paid for grad school himself money is probably what he needs/wants.

What's his degree in? You could get him something nice related to that.

Or, get him something he'd like but hasn't been able to buy for himself- since he's been in school that could be anything from eating out, electronics, a GPS, a Wii, an espresso machine, a Kindle, an Itouch- what is he into that has he not bought bc he's had to pay for school?

I'd like Itouch and an Itunes GC but as someone who's still paying off loans I wouldn't buy it for myself. In case anyone is looking to buy me a present

When I graduated with B.A. my favorite gift was a framed pic of me receiving diploma. My aunt purchased it through the photographers that were taking pics during the ceremony. Another thing I would have liked was a framed diploma that was being offered through the company that printed our dimplomas. But if not, the money would be great!

I think money towards a trip would be a great way to say congratulations. Especially after working as hard as he probably has to get where he is now. More than likely he's had to put aside something like that in order to study and get through college, so a little much deserved vacation may be something he would enjoy.

The diploma frame is a really good idea. Mine is still sitting in a folder on the bookshelf because I can't justify the cost right now. They get pretty expensive! Otherwise, money is always a good gift.

Most people give money to the graduate so that they can do something special - that's what we give.
