College Boarding

I know i am not in college yet but i am begining my college search and was wondering on some opinions or boarding and thought that this was the best place to ask. So anyway i was wondering how many of you out there live on campus, at home and comute, or off-campus but not at home? This is one quesiton i am still going through and just thought that some opinions might help see al points of veiw...thanks
