Collecting DS pins.

Hi,

I just starting collecting the Disney Store pins and have all of them except the #1. I guess a lot of people don't have this one and I am wondering if there will ever be anyway for me to get it! Since I'm so new to this, can someone let me know what my chances of getting this pin without a good trade (the only pin I have to trade right now is an extra #10). I have seen a few posts on this board and replied to them, but so far no luck. This is the only board I know about and I only found it because I get lots of great information from the other forums about visiting Disney.

Please help me!! I really want a complete set.

One possibility may be to come across a store that receives a restock shipment of #1 pins.

The store nearest my home actually did receive a restock of #1 through #4 about 10 days ago. The CM told me this last Saturday. By Saturday, they had no more #1, but had many #2- #4.

You might want to check the stores local to you. Some CMs do know what they're going to receive and when. You might get lucky.

So sorry you missed out on #1. Many stores are getting more. Ask your store if they expect any and then call everyday until they come in. Then drop everything and race to the store to pick it up!

Welcome to pintrading. This is a great place for info on pins. A few other sites are www.dizpins.com. They have message boards (trading, mesages, etc) as well as pin info. www.pinpics.com is a database of pins available. You can put your collection online and arrange for trades.

Between this site and the other two, not much will get past you in the pin trading world.

Thanks for the suggestion but my local Disney Store won't be getting anymore #1's. They said the bigger stores may get more so if anyone happens to be in a store with a #1 could you please pick an extra one up for me?!

I MANAGED TO PURCHASE THE MISSING ONES FROM A DISNEY STORE IN MARYLAND. THIS
STORE ALWAYS HAD PLENTY OF PINS. YOU CAN TRY CALLING THEM FOR THE NUMBER ONE
PIN. IN THE NEW DS PIN COLLECTION, I HAVE ALREADY MISSED THREE PINS. THE
MARYLAND STORE CAME THROUGH FOR ME ALREADY THIS YEAR. IT WON'T HURT TO MAKE A
PHONE CALL.
