For those of you with larger collections, do you use some sort of software for cataloging your collections and, if you do, what software do you use? I've been thinking about this for a while just to keep track of things (and to have a record for insurance purposes).

I've done a few internet searches, but haven't come up with anything that jumps out at me or that doesn't cost a mortgage payment. I did find one program that did actually have a Disney specific program, but they didn't have a trial version and that worried me some. There are plenty of programs for movie, music, book, and comic book collectors, but none for just general collectors.

Any help would be appreciated!

Guess I should modify my question. How do you have your collections listed with your insurances? Do you have pictures cataloged somewhere? I've talked to my insurance agent about this a couple of times, but he's pretty vague about what to do, I think he's not really taking me seriously (I know I should be more forceful). Do you have your whole collections listed or just your valuable pieces? Or do you have them insured at all?

I find myself all the time looking through my collection and finding a piece that I think I've never seen before which obviously I have because I apparently bought it. I thought if I had some sort of record of it, it might help plus would keep me from re-buying something I already have (which I do ALL the time).
