Coldplay?

I like the band Coldplay.
Can someone expain why they are "gay"?

Whenever I say I like this band, everyone goes "Oh they're so gay." Mostly boys say it if that makes a difference.

I've never heard anyone refer to them as "gay".
Maybe it's the music they play, guys may think that then? I dont know.

I am a guy and I like them...their music is calming for me and thats the music I am into now, like Dave Matthews and Jason Mraz and a lot others.

lol their "gay" because the guy has a really high voice and their music just has a girly sound to them XD

I think alot of it has to do with the suuuuuuper sensitive and heartfelt lyrics as well. And how very poetic they are.

Alot of artists like that appeal to girls, and therefore are gay according to most guys lol.

seeeee that's why coldplay appeals to girls lol.

I cry at "Fix You" too.

I like coldplay, it's one of the only few bands from this decade that I actually really like

I didn't want to start a new thread about Coldplay, so I decided to bring this one back.



soooo....
i am completely and utterly disappointed in Coldplay today.

Their new ablum is nowhere near as good as the last 3.
The only songs really like (besides Violet Hill) are Viva La Vida (because it sounds the most like their old stuff) and Death to All His Friends/ The Escapist.
I really don't like whatever "new sound" it was they were trying to go for.

AND to top it all off they CANCELLED their Toronto date on their World Tour.
which I was REALLY excited about because one of the things on my lifes to do list is see Coldplay in concert.
