What did you wear to cover up? I want to find a stylish cape or shawl for the frigid Wisconsin winter. I have this fear I won't be able to find anything and will be left wearing my parka.

Any suggestions and pix of what you're doing to stay warm?

Thanks!!!

p.s. How do you change a thread's title like people do in their trip reports to indicate new posts? Just curious...

Davids bridal has a white cape thingy and a shall they have fake fure on them but it's really pretty for a winter wedding, I'm from Iowa and getting December 7, 2007 so I am going to wear the cape thing.

I was married in January in the midwest, so I understand your dilemma. When I ordered my wedding gown, I ordered extra fabric and had a shawl made to match my dress. I really only used it to get from the church to the limo and the limo to the reception. Good luck!

I have seen some really cute pashmina type shawls that are really pretty, you can find them in white or ivory, or any other color for that matter. I haven't gotten one yet but I'm planning on it. Check out ebay, I've seen quite a few there, and I know in the next few months some of the department stores will start getting them. You can get them for pretty cheap, usually around $20-50 or so, depending on the material.

And to edit your thread title, you just edit your first post, and then it says on there "advanced edit" or something like that. There you will be able to edit your title.
