Wow, that's nuts!!! We are a family of five and frequent Marble Slab creamery for less than $15 for all of us.

I love the concept of Cold Stone, but they need to turn up those freezers. The ice cream is always so soft, it's seconds away from being a milkshake by the time it's mixed.

We have gone once and I just can't stomach paying that much. It's so expensive! I honestly don't think it's any better than the stuff at the store.

We used to live close to a Baskin Robbins and that was a great treat - it was half the price of Cold Stone or Marble Slab. YUM

$40 / 5 persons = $8 per person. Was that everybody getting the giant sized, in a chocolate covered waffle cone, with extra toppings, and a bottle of water each to wash it down?

We can do Cold Stone for less than $4 per person for the small size... which is plenty big enough given how rich and unhealthy that stuff is...

but, mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm, it's soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo good.

My DW loves Cold Stone's cake batter icecream, which we can't find anywhere else.

I am a big fan of the cherry cheesecake milkshake. Yummy!

But for each spoonfull of Cold Stone, you need to do a lot of these --->

Well, we all did get big waffle cones but I have no clue how big or little or how many toppings the kids got in theirs - at least a few. I did get the Gotta Have It size with one topping, though and I know my wife got a couple of fruit toppings in hers. I just pay the bill - I don't nickel and dime everyone when we splurge on something as it's pretty rare we go to Cold Stone outside of getting birthday cakes.

And I know my rear end will be doing an extra 1/2 hour of cardio at the gym tomorrow paying the price for the indulgence. I'm sure I'll be cursing Cold Stone at the 1/2 way mark! LOL!

Yeah, we too were suprised at how much two ice creams cost, but it was very delicious! We got two of their creations in waffle bowls that weren't dipped in chocolate or sprinkles. We spent just over $11 for the two of us, but it did include one can of coke.

It'll be a nice now and then treat, but definitely not a weekly one!

WOW, had no idea they were so expensive. I have never been to one. They just opened up one not to far from us. Our paper had coupons in them for Cold Stone Creamery. Sounds very yummy might try it out.
