Oh snap! I got all excited because these bandana/ beaded cooling necklaces sounds better than frogg toggs! I'll have to do some searching and see if something like this is still available. I think my frogg togg works, but it's bulky and lays kind of awkwardly around my neck.

I cut mine in half lengthwise. Not only yields 2 for 1, but it's a better fit.

I cut mine in half as well, but they still sometimes feel awkward.

I have used them and think it is a bit more mind over matter. They work on the principle of evaporation but when hot and humid out they are not able to evaporate for the cooling effect.
