I'm right with you on that one, my standard is "coke, no ice" Then when people look at me weird I must explain that the ice melts and waters down the coke...and then everyone at my table calls me picky...but most people are used to it by now

I prefer any type of pop, "fountian pop"...the kind that you buy in the gas station or from fast food. It can taste SO good on a hot summer day.

I agree...coke is better in a glass bottle.

However, I gave up all soda (pop, coke, whatever you wanna call it) after I saw pictures from a case we had....and I typed the details out, but realized it was waaaaaay too graphic.

Suffice it to say that 1 guy + 2 cokes a day x 15 years = no stomach lining....

I don't think I've had a coke out of a glass bottle in 20 years. I do know I like beer better out of a bottle. I'm not much of a beer person but I do love a cold coke now and then. I'll have to try to find the bottles and test it out.

I once saw a TV show years ago about coke bottlers and there really is a difference in the taste depending on where its bottled. They said that the best is in Hawaii because they use real cane sugar, but thats really about all I remember.

When we went to the Coke museum in Atlanta they said that it will taste different depending on the area. I think they said it is sweeter in the south.

I am a Diet Coke nut and I think the best is from a fountain. I don't get it that way very often. I do drink a can at work every single day and it never fails to satisty. I don't think the bottle adds anything special, but, hey, that's just me
But, that said...I only like beer from a bottle, not from a can. But then again, I only drink beer on a hot summer day....

I don't understand the Pepsi people - uck!!!
