Coke vs. Pepsi

I didn't vote because I buy a store brand cola. It costs .69 a 2 liter and was actually .33 a 2 liter last week so I stocked up.

I picked whichever is cheaper but I prefer Coke and if given the choice, would always pick Coke. My DS likes to drink cola too and he can only drink one cup/day. Well, it is summer and whatever is in the fridge seems to be gone fast so I have to go with the cheaper brand. He is not as picky as I am.

I voted for Coke since all other cola drinks taste like fake sugar. Expecially Pepsi cola. Yuck. Pepsi tastes like diet rubbish to me.

Diet Coke only. Diet Pepsi is ....not good (to me and the rest of my family)

If a restaurant serves Pepsi I have ice tea or water. Sometimes I will make my choice of where to eat based on their sodas.

I always drink Coke. I will drink Pepsi in a restaurant but I definitely prefer Coke. Pepsi is too sweet for me to drink regularly.

That's what I think. But when we did a taste test in my high school psychology class I guessed wrong as did a majority of the class! I've read that most people actually prefer the taste of Pepsi in blind taste tests but would say they like Coke because of the brand. I don't know if that is true but I really do prefer Coke.

COKE! Pepsi Does taste Flat to me also! Seems like once you open a bottle of pepsi and pour a cup, next time you take another cup, its flat! Coke has much more fizz to it and stays that way!

Which is funny cause DH would enjoy Disney A LOT more if the did switch

I voted whichever is cheaper. I prefer Diet Coke and if they are priced the same or close, I will always choose Diet Coke. If the price difference is more than I am willing to pay, then I will buy the Diet Pepsi.

I drink Coca-Cola exclusively. If I go to a restaurant and order a Coke and they say "Is Pepsi Okay?" I say, "No, water with lime please".

I find Pepsi to be too sweet...and Coca-Cola has more carbonation.

Haha. This reminds me of a line from the comedian John Caparulo. When he goes to a restaurant and he orders Coke and they say is Pepsi okay? And he says "well, is Monopoly money ok?"

Neither! DR PEPPER or I go without. Also love Cherry 7up, which DH recently scoured 4 gas stations to find for me.

Same here! Dr Pepper has been number 1 for years, but Coke it fine if DP isn't available. DH and I have actually both been drinking cherry 7up the past few weeks, too. I found the 2liters for 88 cents at Walmart. DH mixes it with Minute Maid limeade.

I prefer Diet Coke, but I will drink Diet Pepsi if that is what is on sale or all the establishment serves. I really prefer fountain drinks of Diet Coke (and will opt for water with lemon on occasion at places with Pepsi products), but in a can or bottle I find that I can just as easily drink either cola.

I'm the opposite. I drink only Pepsi and find Coca-Cola to be too sweet.

Pepsi is too sweet and doesn't have enough carbonation. Like a PP said, tastes flat to me. I hate going to restaurants and asking for coke, then getting pepsi. YUCK! It's happened too often that if I don't know I ask before ordering...

Now that's not to say I hate other sodas made by pepsi. I'll drink mountain dew or sierra mist. Depending on how jacked up I feel like I need to get. But pepsi it's self? NEVER!

I wonder if what you read as a study done by Pepsi We did taste tests in college. I could easily tell the difference. I could also tell the difference between diet and regular (but could not distinguish between brands of diet--it all just tastes awful to me). I even think there is a strong difference in taste with German or Meixcan Coke vs. US Coke (I prefer the foreign ones made with real sugar--they do not taste as "syrupy")

Diet Coke. And if I have the option, can or small bottle over the fountain or two liter bottle...I am not a huge fan our the fountain stuff, and when it comes out of a 2 liter bottle it always seems flat to me.
