Coke 2 and Pepsi Edge

Just to let you know, I have now tried both of these. The Pepsi Edge was good even though I don't drink Pepsi, so I can't compare to regular Pepsi. But, as an avid Coke drinker, I can say I was quite pleasantly surprised with the taste of Coke 2. Very, close to regular Coke! Yeah!!

I haven't seen the Edge one (I don't like Pepsi), but I got my dd the C2 the other day and she loved it. My SO tried it and he said it tasted like coke, just a little flat. He liked it though.

Just tried the free bottle of C2 wife got yesterday at Target. Very good, not exactly regular Coke but very, very close. Will buy this new Coke.

Is this yet another version of the new coke and pepsi? Does anyone remember they tried this a few years ago? I thought there is still two version of Coke out. The new one and the one labeled Classic Coke.

I haven't heard of either of these products?

All I have to say is they better not get rid of my classic coke. I am obsesed with coca cola.

No, it has 1/2 the carbs of Classic Coca-cola.

my dh brought c2 home the other day and had me try it. I use to not but have recently started to drink diet coke and i did not like the c2. It has 70 calories in it. I am not sure how much reg. coke has but my dh says that a lot of people have liked it so far. Pepsi is coming out with on of the low cal. drinks too!

As for as there being 2 kinds of cokes out--i think they stopped the other coke and just have the classic now.

I bought a bottle of C2 yesterday, just to try. I am a Coca Cola addict (can't stand Pepsi) since childhood. I cannot drink diet pop, can't stand the taste of the nutra sweet. The C2 to me, was not as bad as diet coke, and might be good with some Malibu, but it still wasn't Coke and it still had the after taste of the Nutra sweet. I think I'll stick to my Classic Coke.

coke c2 does not have nutrasweet and neither does diet coke any more. c2 contains splenda along with a couple of other artificial sweeteners. Also the "new" coke from a long time ago didnt last very long at all and was pulled within a week i think.

C2 is made with Aspartame, which is nutrasweet. It also had one other artifical sweetner, sucralose I believe. Diet Coke and Diet Pepsi are also made with Aspartame, Diet Rite is made with Splenda.

Just realized what I typed, sucralose is splenda, but I can't remember what the second sweetner was on the label, but aspartame was definitely first (after sugar).
