Hi! I will be staying at the Beach Club Villas, studio room, and I was wondering what the coffee situation is. I was just there last year and cannot remember what I did. I know DVC provided a coffee maker, but I cannot remember if I had to buy my own coffee and filters?

I need my coffe in the morning. So this is a critical question for me! haha::MickeyMo ::MickeyMo

You'll need to bring your own. DVC provides a "start-up" supply only. You'll get one pack (filter/coffee combo) of regular and one of decaf. You'll get another set on T & T Day or on a full cleaning day.

The provided coffee is OK (drinkable, LOL), but you'll most likely prefer your own brand.

Best wishes -

The store in the BC has some supplies for the Villas, filters, half and half and the Mickey cans of coffee which are pretty darn good, and that is from an obsessed Starbucks coffee drinker!!::MinnieMo

Bring your own coffee and filters, or you can purchase it at the giftshop.....they usually have Maxwell House in the filter packs. There is a packet of coffee in the room to start you of, but I usually consider it something I'd use in an emergency<g>.

Another option if you don't mind leaving your room to get coffee is to buy a refillable mug and you can fill it at the little quick breakfast area in the Beach club lobby. This works if you like to get up and take a morning walk while you drink coffee or if you want to go and sit by the lake to sip it as the World wakes up.

What type of filters do they take...the V kind, or the round kind?

The "round kind" - similar to those used by Mr. Coffee brand coffeemakers.

we forgot to pack the filters, although be brought our own coffee, but i discovered if you fold a paper towel in half and lay two of them down into the filter basket perpendicular to each other, it worked just fine.

(hey it was early in the morning and i NEEDED my coffee!!)
