Where is coffee available on the fantasy/dream? Early am? Other times?

I'm an early riser and love morning coffee sitting outside.

You can have room service bring it directly to your room if you'd like. Or you can get it from the soda/coffee stations by the pools or Cabanas, both on deck 11.

Years back room service delivered in thermal pots that actually kept coffee hot enough overnight to have a first cup without waking the family up. Is it still this way on the Dream? Really early riser here...

If you like coffee, bring your own. The Nescafé mix that they serve is awful. Un drinkable IMO. We bring a coffee press, and use hot water from the drink station or from one of the main dining rooms. Starbucks also sells a cup that is a coffee press all in one. Enjoy your cruise.

I know the instant coffee on the boats isn't that good. If I got it at a restaurant or some place on land, I'd probably refuse to drink it.

BUT... there's something about it that I like. Maybe because the only time I ever have coffee like that is on the boat. It just tastes better because I'm out at sea. :goodvibes

You can order from room service the night before for early morning delivery.

I agree with you. It's because it's Disney Nescafe instant concentrate coffee elixir and it means I'm either at WDW or on a ship. :goodvibes

im bring a pack of starbucks doubleshot cans! no way can I stand that nescafe stuff :( yuck

How about the coffee at Cove Cafe? Is it high quality like what I would get at my local Starbucks or Caribou?

Thanks for the replies,
E :surfweb:

But then I still wake others up. The pot used to be an insulated carafe that kept it hot overnight. Is it still delivered in those, or a regular silver pot now?

Good idea, maybe we'll try this. Coffee on Disney...bad. Coffee on Carnival...bad. Coffee on Celebrity...bad. Coffee on RCI...bad. I'm seeing a trend here. :lmao:

What is is with these cruise lines? They've managed to create such a great product that keeps us all coming back for more but can't serve a decent cup of coffee to save their lives. I'm convinced it's a conspiracy to make us buy their specialty coffees. ;)

I'm with you on the conspiracy theory!

Is the room service coffee the gross stuff, or regular drip? I usually bring Starbucks Via to Disney, so I can do so for the cruise as well I guess. :surfweb:

Well said! :thumbsup2 I am NOT a Starbucks fan, or any of that fancy flavored stuff. I like "regular, plain old coffee", and there is something about the coffee on the ship that is different. It's not the best but I like it, and it means I'm at Disney something!!

The coffee in Cove Cafe is still a base of Nescafé. They just try to cover it with with steamed milk or creamers.
