Coffee????

if you drive out of walt disneyworld using the exit down near downtown disney. take a left at the exit to the property there is a dunkin donuts about a half mile on the left. its a small one in a little strip plaza:)

In general I think DW has horrible coffee offerings! It was the only thing I really had a problem with last year on my DW honeymoon. The last time I had been (~2004 or so), I wasn't a huge coffee drinker, but I am now addicted to my one cup a day (mostly to Starbucks or any dark coffee/espresso). Needless to say there is no Starbucks and the only potential source of espresso was at the Polynesian coffee shop, which I unfortunately found out closes early (around noon?). :headache:

Does anyone know of any other coffee shops selling quality coffee (i.e. not Nescafe) on the Disney property? Someplace with espresso/capuccino or dark roast coffee? How about at Pop Century (where I'm staying in a month)?

Thanks!

and its nescafe. i had a really good cup of coffee across from the tower of terror entrance, but that was it, could not find a good cup anywhere else.

We have Tim Horton's here in Western NY and it's as addicting as Dunkin Donuts but alas Nescafe is the WRONG coffee blend of WDW. I am brining my own grounds too for my vacation in 29 days!

By the way, your lock got cut off probably because you are not allowed to lock your luggage to go on an airline (at least since 9/11) I found that out the hard way also.

Don't forget that when you see the coffee kiosk's that have an espresso machine in them ask for an Americano. An Americano is usually made with 1 or 2 shots of espresso in a tall cup then filled with hot water. That will be your best tasting coffee in the parks.

If you are staying at a value resort bring your own coffee maker. Don't forget about buying bottled water to make your coffee with. Central FLA water out of the tap does not make good coffee.

I bring my own beans, grinder, kettle and manual drip pot so my day will start off on the right foot.

OMG!! Where in PA did you go without a DD??! I didnt know such places existed in Pa, there are more than I can count here!

We stayed in a little town in Lancaster County (think Amish people) called Quarryville. Keep in mind that I'm used to two in the immediate area! LOL!!!

I am actually packing a bag of Dunkin Donuts coffee with me along with a french press for my hotel room at the Wilderness Lodge. The coffee that WDW uses, Nescafe, is downright horrendous. I guess they are forced into it since WDW has that exclusivity deal with Coca Cola to only use their beverage products.

OMG YES!!!!! That Nescafe stuff is the WORST! I am another DD addict! When we went to WDW last March I tried drinking Nescafe one morning and it was so horrible that it totally threw off my entire morning! :crazy2: It was like drinking dirty water so gross!

Another Jersey girl for Dunkin Donuts!
I was fine with the packet in our room in CBR
last time but I only have one cup in the AM with
French vanilla creamer (I had WeGoShop deliver
that with our groceries). :thumbsup2
DH was ok with any kind of coffee... :confused3
A bit OT but we used TSA approved locks on
on our last trip down.

We are HUGE DD coffee fans! We only go to Starbucks for espresso! I think we'll be packing a couple of bags of DD coffee in our luggage for our vacation! That was the one thing that drove me crazy about Disney...no good coffee! Although, we did enjoy the french press at Narcoossee's! :surfweb:

If you are anywhere near the Epcot resort area...the Dolphin brews Starbucks coffee. :) In addition to our refillable mug of coffee every morning, we enjoyed some yummy iced lattes from their coffee bar!

There is another over on Route 192. if you go out by Wide World of Sports toward Route 4 [This is West Osceola Parkway]. Turn left at Gaylord Palms [International Drive in Kissimmee] You can go left into the Publix parking lot to get to DD on the corner. It is about 5 minutes by car from the POP & CBR area. There is a Walmart on the other corner for reference point.

Okay the OP with the directions to the nearest Dunkin Donuts searched for the ones in Orlando but WDW is in Lake Buena Vistas so search for LBV for closer to WDW

There are some places to get good coffee (i.e., NOT Nescafe) at WDW, but you have to go looking for it. A good list is HERE

My personal favorite is the cart by Test Track in EP.

Thank you so much for this link to the coffee list! :cool1:

When we were at WDW last year, the only day we braved morning coffee was at the TTC because we saw it was an espresso cart. Now we have more offerings to try.
