Hello
I will be staying at the Beach Club Villas in a 2 bdr this upcoming May. I have seen in the pictures that there is a coffee pot in the studio and in the kitchen. My question is, do you bring your own coffee with you on the trip and if so do you pack it in your luggage? With the airlines have a problem with this.

also can you just buy coffee at the resort for the machine. Are they available for purchase in the beach club marketplace ...tia!

Housekeeping will generally leave you some coffee. We don't care for the kind they've left the last couple of trips so I bring my own with me. I also bring coffee filters. And I buy a new coffee cup each trip because I think the ones in the villas are too small.

I'm with PatsMom on this one!
We bring our own coffee & filters & use the refillable mugs for morning coffee.
I think it is a 10 cup pot in the one bedrms & up.

They do supply sugar & Equal/Sweet 'n' Low?
We did get the refillable mug, so I got Splenda from the Marketplace.

Housekeeping will replace your coffee IF YOU are paying cash and booked through CRO. If you are staying as a DVC member or renting points, you need to bring your own. Not a problem going through security with it. We often will throw a unopened can in our suitcase (remember the filters and a scooper).

I stay as a DVC member at the BW and there has always been coffee provided. A few packs are in the room when we check in; more are put in on trash/towel day.

That being said, I never use it - bring my own. May I suggest you put it in a ziploc bag if you're packing it in your suitcase. Better to be safe than sorry!

We've found this to be not always true. Saratoga Springs seems to not supply as much coffee as some other villas. Our recent stay at Villas at the Wilderness Lodge we had about five packets of coffee when we checked in and on trash and towel day the housekeeper left us more even though we hadn't used any. Boardwalk Villas seemed very generous with the coffee last summer too. And we never stay on cash, always points.

Yes I agree, there are starter packs and SOME DVC resorts will refresh on T&T day, but if the OP wants daily, he/she needs to know that us DVC members don't get it for the entire stay. I agree about the ziplock bag, can you imagine the mess in your suitcase. We just throw an unopened can in the luggage. The last time we went to buy it there at publix it was twice the price as home, so we bring our own now.

Aah, yes, but the SMELL of fresh-brewed coffee would be with you all day long!:lmao:

We bring a bag of ground coffee - one of those starbucks type bags (but not Starbuck's - my husband is too much of a coffee snob for Starbucks). We also bring a tupperware of sugar and Mr. Coffee large size basket filters. We buy half and half at the DVC store.

do they sell coffee for the coffee pots at the beach club marketplace?

I'm going to say no - but can't say for certain.

Disney is known for their awful coffee, so frankly, I think you're better off bringing your own anyway!
