Hi, I'm sure this has been asked a bazillion times, but short of searching millions of threads, is there anyone who can tell me what kind of coffee maker is in a standard room at the Boardwalk Inn. Just DH and I on a last minute trip, and generally we stay DVC suites which have the full coffee makers. We like our coffee and I'm putting together a last minute Garden Grocer delivery list. Thanks for your help.

Housekeeping will leave you replacements every day since you get daily full cleaning on the Inn side.

And they will bring you additional if you ask. DH drinks several cups in the morning and one day I believe housekeeping left only decaf. In the evening DH called housekeeping and asked if they could bring us a few packets of regular brew coffee pods. About 15 minutes later somebody knocked on our door with a bag full of coffee pod packages and it had a nice bow on it. A few days later he ran out again and I saw one of the housekeepers in the hallway and asked her for a few, she gave me a whole hand full and asked me if I was sure that was enough.

You can order these and make them with your own coffee:

You don't need the pod maker to do this, they can be made with an iron. I used a small bowl with a rim that is about the same size as the pod. I filled it with coffee, folded over the flap making sure that all the coffee was inside and not on the part that was going to be sealed, then set the iron on top for about 30 seconds then moved the iron around a bit and they were sealed.

We buy milk in the shop to have in the room.

We LOVE having our own coffee while there.

Thanks everyone for your replies. It turns out that I work just down the street from a coffee service company that supplies hotels with the Cuisinart coffee pods. I know that while we're at Disney, I could ask for as much as we wanted, but I went ahead and bought some anyway. We've been in other hotels outside of WDW which use the same type of coffee makers, so this way I'll always have on hand these type of coffee pods.

Cool, lucky you!

How much coffee do you put in each pod?
