Coffee in (or near) WDW..

Ok, I admit it -- I am a totally caffeine-aholic. I HAVE to have my coffee in the morning just to get to work, never mind walking miles around the parks! I hear the coffee at the resorts is, well, not so great, to put it nicely. We are staying at POR, so we'll have a coffee pot in-room, but DH can't stand the smell of coffee (I KNOW! How is that possible?) We'll have a car, and I have no problem hopping out early to go get a good cup o' java. So where to go? Another resort? Dunkin' Donuts? Fellow coffee-lovers, help!

I personally don't mind the coffee at the hotel restaurants! it's not Starbucks or Seven Eleven, or Dunkin donuts...but it's caffine and that's what the body calls for in the am!

Take the monorail to the Poly and grab a cup of Kona coffee at the little stand next to the Kona Cafe. YUMYUM its the best we have tasted at Disney.

I suggest that you bring your own coffee and make it in the room. DH will understand. You're on vacation !!!! Barring that, the best coffee in WDW IMHO is at the Writer's Stop at MGM Studios or the Kona Cafe or coffee bar at the Poly. You might also try the Swan or Dolphin Hotels. They are not operated by Disney and may have better coffee since they do not have to serve Nescafe. I will have to check this out on our next visit.

To my knowledge there are no Dunkin' Donuts nearby, but their coffee is not that great anymore anyway. They have definitely made it weaker.

MMM, that sounds good. We might try that some morning when we go to WDW.

The second floor of the Poly at the coffee stand (I don't remember the name of it). Also the lobby of the CR is good but not as good as the Poly.

There is a Dunkins just outside Downtown Disney. When you are leaving Downtown(facing Goodings) take a left and it's about a 1/4 mile on the left. I think it's next to a Macaroni Grill.
