Coffee at AKL

I just read that they are now using the single serving coffee pots. I am wondering how many of the little pods do they give you, before you have to purchase them? Thanks for any information; trying to figure out if i need to buy some and put them in our disney box for trips.

Can someone confirm that they had those there recently? I hate the single serve idea, and might rethink my upcoming stay at AKV-Jambo if this is true. Fortunately, OKW last week had the regular coffee pots.

i agree i hate the single serving pots; but I love AKL to much to switch for coffee.

The DVC villas all still have the Mr Coffee style coffee pot (10-12 cups, basket style filter).

The studios at BCV have 4 cup Mr. Coffee type pots.

And if you're a big morning coffee drinker, BCV housekeeping will switch that 4 cup for a 12 cup upon request. I speak from experience! That's why at AKV, I don't want to spend my morning making cup after cup of coffee.

Hi Simba's Mom. We were at AKV in a one BR on the club floor the first week of March and had a full size coffeemaker. Hopefully someone with a more recent stay can reassure you. Have fun!

While I'm not sure if this information is coming too late or not (your trips to AKV may have already passed) here's what I just found out:

DBF and I will be arriving this Saturday at AKV Kidani- and I just called Disney to ask about the coffee pot situation-
I was connected directly to Kidani Front Desk- and was informed that the coffee pot is the ol' fashioned kind (NOT K-cup)- so it will be a 10-12 cup ol' school pot!
