coffe pot in the room at GF?

Hi everyone! First time poster here
We stayed at the AKL 3 years ago and did not have a great experience there.
This time we are going to stay at the GF and are very excited!!

My question is this: Do the rooms come with a coffee pot like most modern hotels now a days? I found out that I had to request a coffee pot at the AKL and it took 3 days for it to arrive

I am a coffee addict in the morning. Yeah I know there is coffee down in the lobby but ... well... I can't see the front door let alone the lobby until I have had 2 cups

With 3 kids who refuse to sleep AT ALL while at Disney I am a mom in major need of her coffee the second I open my eyes!!!!
Should I bring a travel coffee maker and if so are they allowed in the room?

Not to worry. You will enjoy your stay. Yes, there is a coffee pot in the room, the 4-cup variety, and coffee is included. If you choose to bring your own coffee, you'll need small paper filters, accordian pleated. I know that the coffee takes a bashing at disney, and deservedly so, but lately I've found that the coffee is getting much better, and I'm a coffee snob! I grind my own beans at home. That said, use bottled water to make your coffee (or tea) and you'll get a much better flavor. Tap water at Disney has an odd taste.

I am a cajun and we are going to attempt to do the "run for your lives away from New Orleans" during Mardi gras.
I like my chicory coffee so I am sure to bring my own

I sound like such a lush LOL

No coffee pot in the room no Disney

With the way my 3 kids are ... man o man they try and kill old mom!
Magical nights and magical hour mornings do NOT mix when your over 35

I figure if nothing else I can run an IV of caffiene strait into a vein

Welcome from me, too, fellow coffee drinker!
When we stayed at the AKL, there was a coffeemaker in our room....poor you!! The suggestion another poster made above about bringing your own water is one I'm going to take next time I'm there. We were at the Poly earlier this year, and I decided then and there that the water at Disney does NOT help the situation!!

The coffee pot issue was just one of many I had at AKL ... and trust me I am NOT one of those picky people

I hope they have gotten better over the past 3 years as the service we had was horrid.

I will have to remember the water thing!! It sooo would NOT be the happiest place on Earth without mom having her coffee when she opens her eyes
