Coffe in room

At our most recent stay I noticed there was no coffee in our one bedroom unit. Is this normal? I can't remember. I thought they had at least a couple of those packets that make one pot of coffee.

There should be one (maybe two) pre-filtered pack(s) of coffee.

It should be there, but its lousy coffee. Making it with Orlando water doesnt help.

Yes, it should be in there for each day of your stay. Curse that stupid coffee though, I can never get it right. LOL

I use 1 1/2 bottles of water (the 16.9 oz ones) and put the little packet in, and hit strong. I don't like weak coffee though. I never use the tap. It's only taken me 4 trips but I think I've perfected it. ;)

If your room doesn't have the usually supplied coffee do the following;

  1. Leave your room and find the nearest landscaped area.
  2. Collect a handful of mulch, return to room.
  3. Wrap mulch in toilet paper.
  4. Place in Coffee filter basket and brew.
As you can guess, we aren't fans of the supplied coffee. We would highly suggest bringing your own favorite.

I can't remember if the coffee maker could fit the smaller coffee filters or does it need the regular sized one. I have the small ones at home. In Feb. we only got two packets in our room.

There have been reports of some studios having 4-cup brewers instead of 10-12 cup brewers. If you get a studio that has a 4-cup brewer and prefer a 10-12 cup brewer, call housekeeping and they will bring one to you.

One bedroom and larger rooms will have a 10-12 cup brewer.

I always bring coffee and filters from home. I tell my DH the only thing I cook when I am at Disney is coffee!

OMG, I love this. That is great.

The only problem with this is, the supplied coffee packet would be slightly brown water at best if you brewed an entire pot with it. LOL I tried that the first time.

I think I can probably guess but what are your opinions regarding the coffee that you can fill your refillable mug with? Like up at turtle crawl at OKW. I didn't mind it. But I am not a coffee expert.

My opinion is blech for any coffee coming out of one of those machines at any counter service. Some of the coffee that I have had at table services is okay and some is not.
