You are not doing anything wrong. You will find that many people here have been dozens of times and have never received a code. I've only been down a few times and haven't received one either. I have registered, ordered the planning video, saved a vacation on the WDW site, done the on-line surveys, the telephone surveys, etc. - still nothing. I use AAA and then hopefully Disney sends out a general public code like they did for the first half of 2009 that all of us can use. I then book that right away and cancel the room only AAA rate that I had if the new code is better. The few times I have gone, this has worked just fine.
