A few things, I am new to the board.
Do we get codes from Disney website? And some people get visa codes, but you can only use that code if you have a visa card. Some people have codes attached to there reservation, because they travel there so much???
( i think)
When I call up do I just say do I have a code attached and/or if I have a code, just tell them I have a code? Do I need to tell them where I got the code.
Also on upgrades, once I reserve the rooms do I just keep on calling to ask about upgrades. or do they automatically assign them.

Sorry so many questions. Just trying to get a deal. We are going in the beginning of february which is value and trying to get a deal on a deluxe resort.
Can we call the resorts directly???
If we call are there diferent deals than the website?
Do they tend to give the codes out early in the AM.

I have some of the exact same questions. Can you only use codes if you book through travel agents or can you use them if you book directly through Disney as well?

Keep an eye out on these boards for codes. If somebody finds one, they will usually post it here on the boards.

Also, go over to www.mousesavers.com. They have lists of codes there as well.

You can also find special offers on the www.disneyworld.com website. Just click on Tickets & Reservations. On the next page, you'll find a menu on the left hand side of the page. Click on Special Offers. That's where you'll find any general public codes.

We've been to WDW 12 times in the last 10 years and have never once received a postcard or mailer giving me a pin code. I'm still hoping for one though.

I did find a special offer on the Disney website for our June, 2007 trip. I received a slight discount on the room for three of our nine nights and free ticket upgrades. I saved a little over $350.00!

I've never used a travel agent to book my vacation. Have always done it myself and, like I just posted, I found the special offer on the website. I had already booked our vacation package months before. I immediately called Disney reservations and they applied the code for me.
