Which are released first? AP rates or codes anyone can use? Which are usually the better deal? I'm wondering if you think we will see the $49 per night rate for ALL STAR MOVIES for August 24 - 29th, 2003. When would these rates be released? I'm hoping soon..........

Thanks so much!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Thanks for asking. Ive been wondering the same thing. While Im happy with the rate we have, I wouldnt mind saving a few bucks. ;)

So far the AP rates are out first but I'd like to know
historically what the deal has been.

It's been my experience that All Star Movies doesn't get codes. Even when the All Stars advertise codes, Movies doesn't accept them.

That has been the case both times we have gone to ASMo.

OK, so if I want ASMo, I'm going to have to pay rack rate, which in value season is $77 a night, before taxes. So, would you do that, go for a moderate with an AP rate or code OR rent points from a DVC member and stay in a 2 bedroom villa at OKW or Beach Club?

I am soooooooo confused!!!!!!!!

You can sometimes use codes at ASMo. When we went in December 2001, we got a code rate for the All Stars of $63.03 including tax and we stayed at ASMo. So sometimes you can use them, you just have to keep hoping.

We currently have a DC discount for Movies. We are paying 69.00/night for that week and that includes tax. I dont expect the APs or codes to be much less is they are offered, but its fun to watch...and hope. ;)
