I was talking to a friend of mine at work today who happens to be heading to WDW this September. They are staying at the Yacht Club and when I asked what rate they had gotten for their room, he said his wife had gotten a rate of $199 per night. When I asked how she had booked at such a great rate this far in advance, he said, "well, she just keeps up on these sort of things and always finds a good deal."
Ok, I know most of us pay more attention to AP, FL resident, Disney Visa, etc, codes than we do to our own families.
So does anyone have any idea how they got this rate? I'm not getting overly excited or anxiously envisioning upcoming codes (I don't need a discount code until our trip for December), but I was just wondering if anyone knew of other resources from which discounted WDW resort rooms could be booked.
Basically, I want to go in to work tomorrow and tell my friend that he may want to make sure his wife isn't "fibbing" a little on their rate.
