Codes for Nov or too early?

OK, we have a land/sea package booked starting 11/27 (AKL & Wonder) but now that I have heard of all the great holiday stuff going on at this time we were thinking of coming in on 11/25 and staying budget for 2 days. When would the codes come out for that time?

I used to get postcards with special deals but haven't for some time so I really don't want to wait too long to book at it is Thanksgiving weekend. Or, I guess I could do Priceline for the 2 nights and hope for the best.

Another question - If we do not stay on property can I still drive around to the various resorts to check out the decorations or do I have to pay to park, etc.?

IF codes or anything come out it won't be until the end of August. At least that is when they came out last year.

I am not sure how the driving around to different resorts will work, I know they have guards there to ask who you are when you go in - like if you are checking in or whatever so I am not sure how it would work if you aren't staying or eating there.

They haven't even released codes for summer yet!

I think last year they blacked out the Thanksgiving holiday weekend for codes. Most of our group arrived just before or during that weekend, and I seem to recall they had to use AAA discounts. Some ended up with three reservations (pre-Thanksgiving, Thanksgiving weekend and post-Thanksgiving!).

If you're serious about the extra days, you'll want to make the room only reservation at rack rate and apply any codes as they are made available.

Oh yea, I forgot we can use AAA discount. That will do just fine since it's only $99 anyway. We don't need any passes until our official stay begins so that will be great.
