Codes/AP rate and Concierge?

Can you use codes or AP rate with concierge level rooms? If so can you tell me what you are paying per night and what resort you are staying?

I am looking to go back to Disney in Sept and I am wondering what my chances are at getting a concierge level rooms for around 250.00 to 275.00 at night at either AKL or Poly.

AP and code rates are available for concierge very often with I believe the exception of RPC at GF. The rates vary depending on how busy WDW thinks the resorts will be.

We used a code last September for the Polynesian Concierge. It was about $320 a night w/tax.

Rack rates at AKL Concierge for Sept (value season time) are $425, so if you got an AP discount you could get the room for about $255 or so before tax.

Well, I just reserved concierge for 3 nights the begining of July using the new code that is out. (I couldn't get Standard or Waterview for the full 8 nights ) With taxes it is $434 but this is regular season.

I am desparately hoping that either a standard or waterview room opens up, or an AP code becomes available, because I just won't pay that kind of money. Hopefully in September which is value seaso, you would get a better rate.

I know what you mean. I have been researching AKL concierge for a long time now and i know the rates in regular season have been better than the current code.

Hopefully the AP rates will come out and drop it more.

Usually the AP rates run 35 - 40% off. This current AXA/B code is barely 20% off rack.

I've got my fingers and toes crossed for a better AKL Concierge rate too!

The AP rates have got to be better than what the AXA codes were. I hope!

We paid 332.00 per night concierge at AKL for Aug 9th & 10th of 2002 but that wasn't an AP rate. The AP rate was 365.00 per night. Then we added the Sunrise Safari which is a must. The total for the 2 nights was like $1000.00 ouch but oh so worth it. The concierge staff was fabulous. And the hotel our all time favorite.

In my quest to secure a different room/lower rate than concierge, I have been calling CRO almost everyday. When I asked about the AP rates this morning, the CM I spoke with said they haven't heard ANY talk about when they will be coming out for the summer months.

She went on to say that since the current AP rates go thru 4/9, we probably wouldn't hear anything until closer to that date.

Just spoke with CM at DC ressie #. She saw my ressie was for May and she said "Well, it is March, so they (AP rates) should be coming out soon." So just keep everything crossed!

We stayed at the AKL Concierge from Feb 1st through the 6th of this year on an AP discount. The nightly rate was $277 a night inc tax in value season. Sept is also value season so depending on bookings you might be able to get concierge at the AKL for around that price.
