codes and reduction question

We are staying in a preferred campsite in FW for 8 nights in October with the MYW and DDP package. We have booked this package through AAA and have paid $200. Our balance is due late Aug. Does anyone know if FW is entitled to the reductions that might take place? If so, what do I do to ensure that I get the deduction. Do I call AAA and ask them to take care of this for me? Do I call Disney and cancel my AAA reservation and re-book my reservation through them? Will I lose my $200 deposit with all of this? Please help! This is our first time staying on site. Thanks.

First you should call your AAA agent and ask them to get the discount for you, if they say that it can't be done, or there are no rooms available through AAA with the discount, book it yourself through Disney, then have the AAA agent cancel their reservation. Because they are booked through 2 different locations, you can do that and the reservation you already have won't get cancelled. You can't cancel the reservation that AAA made, they have to do it, becaue it is not booked through the same office as you would make it if you called Disney yourself.
