Wouldn't they announce the promo for Visa holders first? I think you all are getting a little hyper.

Not sure about everyone else in the thread, but the announcement for Visa card holders *is* what I'm waiting for.

There is a rumor that discounts will be released to Visa Cardholders on Wednesday 9/28 and the general public on Monday 10/3. Travel Dates Jan 1st through Mar 7th. No information regarding what properties or amounts.

I have no idea where the rumor came from (and have seen nothing from our reliable source Joe Black although he's been MIA on the boards for awhile). My initial reaction is I'm not sure if this is true or just a Travel Agent blowing smoke.

No you have to call in to take advantage of the Disney Visa promotion

No you have to call in to take advantage of the Disney Visa promotion

Actually that may not be true - they now have the ability to release and book Disney Visa deals online. It was that way the last time they released a Visa deal. You have to pay with your Disney Visa when you checkout though. I'm not saying 100% it will be an option but it may be. I was shocked that it actually worked last time (I have little faith in Disney I/T)

For our split stay in February of this year (WL, Poly) I was able to book the Visa discount online. We switched resorts and room categories a few times and it was always nice to see the Visa discount next to the regular discount to compare. As mentioned above, don't know what will happen this time, but I hope it will be available online again!

Yes - this is my memory as well, thanks for backing me up! The neat thing is I think they have a different grouping of rooms for the Visa deal vs. the Gen. Public deal so sometimes one room category may be available in one and not the other. Like you said - GREAT for comparing!

Last time I checked Canadians couldn't get a Disney Visa card.

Wish I could get one too.
