I thought a separate thread with this information will help folks as it did for me. Thanks to disneyfan55 for posting it.

Just like many others I had tried saving different vacations on the Disney website in hopes of getting the elusive 20/30/40 code and all it seemed I was getting back were emails with info and pictures of the resorts I considered. If you get one of those emails scroll down to the section that says Special Resort offer - that's where the pin code was hiding! I just saved over $300 for our DD's 16th birthday trip at the Poly! :yay:

That's were my pin code was as well. I received an email with the subject line, "Explore your Disney Resort picks, Bittle family!", and the code was on the lower right of the email.

You are quite welcome! Glad it worked for you. It helped me decide on whether to purchase an AP on our Feb trip!! I did make our reservation for the first week of Dec. We have only been to WDW once for the Christmas decorations, and since we're going in early Feb, I thought that week would be good. I did want to make sure I had some type of discount since the AP discount even for when we are going (from the very first day) was not available for our reservation so I wanted to make sure I had something I wanted booked for the Nov/Dec week. Well we booked CBR standard rooms - what we wanted!

I keep trying and NOTHING!

I tell you, what worked for me was to delete my saved vacations and then book some more for various dates and different resort levels. Originally I had just booked all moderates in the date range we were looking for (dec '09), but I deleted those and saved vacation dates for every couple of months at all three price levels. A couple of days after doing this I had an email pin code.

Just keep playing around on the site, and hopefully good luck will shine down on you very soon!

Aimee

Same here. I did everything that everyone was saying about the reservations and I even made sure my profile was updated on the Disney website (it was checked off that I wanted to receive emails). I kept looking for the special pin for the 20/30/40 offer and figured I was not going to get it. But I went back on DIS (for the hundreth time this week :)) to read all the great posts and found the one from disneyfan55 and read it and low and behold, I had received the email from Disney Destinations back on Monday the 4th. I did not scroll down enough to see the code listed. It looks like it is just confirming one of the reservation quotes that you tried to make so I just thought that Disney was trying to get me to commit to those dates.

THANK YOU disneyfan55 for your post!!! To all of you still looking.....look back over some old emails from Disney and you may very well already have receive the code!!

Good Luck to you all:cheer2:

YOU'RE welcome!! Glad you received it. I know it looks like some kind of confirmation when you first look at it. I was very surprised to see the PIN at the bottom! Have a nice trip!
