I just had to post this because I found it so funny...
Here in Canada, we pronounce the letter Z "Zed" (rhymes with "Ted")
But I'm pretty sure in the states Z is pronounced "Zee" (ryhmes with Dee as in Zip a Dee do Dah)
This morning, when asked for the code, i said "Zed" as the starting letter and the CM said "Ma'am, what is Zed?"
I almost fell over laughing
I quickly replied with "Sorry, I'm from Canada, that is how we pronounce what you know as the letter Zee."
