Code Issue...Is this just me?

This past July I went to Walt Disney World. I ended up with two tickets (long story) and got two of every kind of quest prize. I have a lot of codes lol.

I gave away many of the codes to friends...so much in fact that I made a separate pile and both piles of given codes, and unused codes appeared equal.

My cat, one night, jumped on the table and mixed all the codes up. I figured, okay so I know all the room codes are given and/or used. That wasn't a problem for me, I would simply ignore those. My plan was/is to just type in every code I have and if it worked, good, if not, I will know that is one I gave away. I was ready to start typing in A LOT of them.

Today, I got on and started plugging in letters and numbers. I got 2/3 through the pile and not one code worked yet. I didn't remember giving away THAT many. I picked a card that I knew wasn't given away. That didn't even work.

As my sister also plays vmk, I kindly asked her to type in the code under her account, it worked. lol.

So I log out of vmk and back in...I type in a code. It works. I type in another, it doesn't. From that point on, no code worked. I kept at it thinking again, they were just codes given away.

I logged out and back in, tried another code. It worked. It then followed the same annoying pattern.

Did vmk put a restriction on how many codes you can enter at once? If so...I think I am going to go insane! I still have so many codes left to enter and I have to log out and back in after EVERY code I type. This would be a lot easier if I knew what codes were used and not used.

I'm hoping this is a really bad bug that will soon go away.

yea my i was told you could only enter like 20 codes at a time and i did that and then stopped and then about an hour later i started again ( i grabbed about 20 wells in vmk central ) ssshhh... but i have the stuff dont know why you can only enter one but i just got back and i was fine.

In my experience of entering codes - and believe me I have entered MANY - it seems that once you try to enter two or three bad codes, from that point on even valid codes will not work.

Your best bet, until you get all these cards sorted is this - try entering your codes, once you have two or three failures - refresh your login. You should have no issues if you do it this way.

I think a crazy person went into the VMK headquarters -lightning flashes- and messed up all code files.. that could be why the pirate codes were able to be used a bunch of times earlier this month..

gl on that thats a lot of time for those codes... i wish you cold win them and have them just out the thing in your accout if you tell them what it is then no codes!!

yeah none of them work if you put in too many wrong ones. However, you don't have to log out and back in. Simply going to another of your own rooms should work just fine.

Hmm...I would not be so quick to say no issues! 450 codes could be an issue!

OnTopic - I too have entered many codes without any problems. Sometimes the room change does help, if you keep getting error messages.

That's not true. I entered 100 pirate codes last night, no problem.

Just a question...In another post you (Sombody) say the 20 codes limit was recently published....Where?

I have looked around VMK and do not see a message stating a limit on the number of codes entered. I ussually enter around 30 - 40 codes per day. (I had no problem with this yesterday)
