code for thanksgiving week

Do all codes exclude Thanksgiving Week? We'd like to go then and I'm trying to see how likely/unlikely it is to get a discount for that week.

I do not know what will happen this year, but we have stayed at CSR three times over Thanksgiving week, and each year, we were able to get free dining. In the past, the code for the FD came out in mid-August. We are waiting and hoping that there will be something for this year as well!

I called the other day to see if I happened to have a pin that I had somehow missed and I did!...It was the 20/30/40% off pin good through December! BUT, it is not good for that week, so here I am, waiting for that free dining offer to get here! (crossing fingers and pleading!)

I don't have an answer for you, but I'd like to know too! I'd love to go Thanksgiving week, but some discounts would definitely help! Free dining would be awesome--can anyone get that, or do you have to be sent a PIN for free dining?

What were the crowds like that week? DH is a teacher and has the whole week off school, so we would probably show up the weekend before Thanksgiving and stay through the week. Are the crowds bad all week, or mostly just that 4-day Thanksgiving weekend?

We flew in the day after Thanksgiving last year for 10 nights and had an AP rate for the entire length of stay (but I honestly don't remember if the previous days had been included)

Our family of 10 people was there this past Thanksgiving. We originially booked with a pin code for a discount but later free dining came along and we quickly took advantage of that! Free dining saved us a lot of money since there were 9 adults and 1 child. We arrived the Friday before Thanksgiving and left the Friday after Thanksgiving. The crowds were not bad at all until the Friday after Thanksgiving when there was a sea of people at Magic Kingdom! We absolutely loved the Christmas decorations in all of the parks and the weather was great! We usually go in August so this was a welcomed change. In fact, we all decided when we go back it will definately be during the same week.
