Code Demographic...

Does anyone know if there are "demographics" in line with the 40% off code? I can't really tell...

We went in 2006 for our Grand Gathering and missed the free dining by one week!!! We had no choice because of school schedules/testing. We did get the dining plan and it was the best ever!!! We gave the kids breakfast in the rooms and then did the regular dining...we managed to have all the dinners as Character Meals. Cinderella's Castle was amazing and the kids were just besides themselves.

Needless to say, my dd6 and I want to go AGAIN!!! DH would be up for it and I have been calling and calling STILL NO CODE!!!! One CM said to me the last time I called (she was polite but sarcastically so!!) that "we are not allowed to OFFER any discounts or specials, you have to ASK us for them. There is no guarantee that you have anything attached to your name." She wasn't mean, but she wasn't "Disney" nice either.

I was just wondering if certain states were getting the codes...I am still praying to the Code God wishing for mercy!!!!

Truthfully, there is no rhyme or reason with any of the codes. Some people have gotten 20%, others 30% and still others 40%. Despite what you have read on this board Many of us have not received anything.There are a few people out there that have even received multiple discounts.I wish I could tell you what the magic formula is but there does not seem to be one.Disney says there is method for selection of who gets codes etc, but who knows? To boost your chances , register on the disneyworld website , order a vacation dvd, and register for emails.You can also call disney reservations and ask about any possible discounts with your name ,husbands name etc.This is still no guarantee...I have done all of thee above and then some, and received snarky comments from the cms for calling and asking.I finally gave up and went thru AAA.Some discount is better then none. So did you ask for one?

It all depends on who you get. There must be alot of people calling about PIN codes. The last 2 CMs I got, were not very nice either.
