Any suggestions for specialty drinks around Epcot? Or anywhere else in Disney for that matter? I'm thinking about Margerita's from Mexico, Kamikazis from Japan. Help me out, we leave in 3 days.

Don't miss the Kristiansand in Restaurant Akershus (Norway). It was wonderful!

Yes, we have drank around the world... in some places we had beer, in others wine, and in yet others, actual cocktails.

We started in Mexico with the Margaritas, then had the Ringles (sp?) beer in Norway, then the Chinese Wine in China, after that, the Reisling in Germany, then the Sparkling Italian wine in Italy, then a Bud Lite in America, Plum wine for me, and Sakki for DH in Japan, I had a cocktail (can't remember what kind), and DH had Morrocan beer in Morroco, had wine in France, Bass in the UK, and Canadian Beer in Canada..(don't remember the kind... of course, after drinking around the world, that isn't anything too surprising!)

Have a great time, and don't plan anything too early the next morning...lol!

Kristiansand is a frozen cocktail with (let's see if I remember this...) spiced rum, maybe some vodka, oh goodness I can't remember the alcoholic ingredients... it's a salmon-colored drink with orange, cherry, and pineapple garnishes - sweet-tasting (but not overpoweringly sweet), with fruity splashes slushed in with the alcohol. I'm so sorry I can't remember it all for you - guess I'll have to *try it again* when we go back in December! It's good - I promise!

Hi Pam:

I don't have any suggestions for you, but I love the concept of dirinking your way around the world. I've got to try that.

Cheers!

Greg

We did this also, when at WDW on a business trip. We started in Mexico, and by the time we got to UK, it was time for Illuminations!

The Rose and Crown was wonderful... we met so many friendly folks from the UK.... or maybe it was me that was more friendly than usual.....:)

The drink around the world thing is fun. No EE the next morning though:eek:

Have done this once before - started off in England and finished in France just in time for Illuminations - doing it again in just a couple of weeks - a fun time

Thanks for your suggestions. I will report back when we get home. This post has been a lot of fun, maybe in Spring I'll do Drinks around the resorts.
