We will be in Florida in July. Part of our stay will be in Orlando, and then we planned on doing a beach vacation for 4 nights. We wanted to go to the gulf side, but I'm too leary with the oil spill. I know they are saying all is well, but I just don't want to chance it. We don't want to go too far from Orlando (around 2 hrs). I would like to know your opinions on Cocoa Beach and Vero Beach (Vero Beach Hotel &Spa) for a family with an 11yr old, 15 yr old and 18 yr old.
