Just wondering if anyone here has ever done priceline for a hotel at Cocoa Beach? We just need to find somewhere for the night before our cruise and I'm not sure about priceline. I've never done it before.

I was a Priceline rookie, but after reading several posts by another Dis'er (mmouse37), I decided to go for it.

I bid 3*'s, only at Cocoa Beach (not surrounding area) for $38 and got two rooms for two nights. We got the Doubletree Cocoa Beach. The lowest room on thier website at the time for the dates I needed was $135.

I bid about 3 months in advance of my arrival date.

A great site to visit with lots of info is:
www.biddingfortravel.com

They have great info there!

Good Luck!

Yes, we stayed at the Doubletree in Cocobeach this past Feb for under $40 per night....the hotel was very nice, especially for the price we paid. Nice lobby, nice pool (no hot tub though). We had a a room with a view of the ocean.

The rooms had a mini fridge and microwave.

Here are some pics of the Doubletree.

We have also done priceline for the Holiday Inn Cocoa Beach and that was an OK hotel...nice lobby but I did not care for the room.
