Coco Key Orlando Opening Thursday

I've seen a lot of people post about Coco Key (especially discounts). They are opening their first resort in Orlando this thursday. It's not a completely indoor water park like many of the other one, but it does have portions covered.

Overall I was impressed. The rooms looked really nice, and the pool is a hidden mickey...no joke. But I think the waterpark a tad small for the bigger kids, though I see this as a great park for smaller kids. I'll post any discounts as I find them.

We booked 3 nights at CoCo Key in October. I would love to hear any reports!

We are staying our first 4 nights at Disney, but booked CoCo Key as part of the Harry Potter package. I thought it would be nice to get a little hotel water park time in since we don't have time to devote a day to the Disney waterpark.

CoCo looks nice, new, reasonably priced & seemed close to Universal. It also included the 3 Broomsticks breakfast.

If anyone has stayed here, please share!

(It won't be too cold in mid-October for swimming will it???) Sorry, I am a 1st-timers & all around clueless.
